When designing the new Kuga, our new intelligent All Wheel Drive (AWD) crossover, we started with a blank canvas – then we questioned everything. The result? A vehicle with awesome ‘go anywhere’ capabilities that also looks truly beautiful. As you’ll see, the dramatic, sleek body wraps a luxurious cabin filled with ingenious features. As for handling – let’s just say we rewrote the rulebook there too.

 

Ford kinetic Design direction starts with its distinctive headlamps, contoured bonnet and large front grille, then sweeps over its aerodynamic body to produce a sleek, purposeful profile. Pronounced wheel arches and a muscular shoulder line create an almost palpable energy, even when stationary. This is a vehicle designed for off-road as well as urban driving – and it isn’t afraid to show it.

 

The new Kuga’s intelligent All Wheel Drive (AWD) Haldex system analyses driving conditions and automatically decides how much power each wheel needs to suit the road, or overcome the terrain. The result is best in class on road performance and handling, as well as superb off road capability and exceptional fuel economy.

 

You’ll find an extensive range of ingenious technology in the Kuga, all designed to give you more safety, more comfort and more driving pleasure. For example, the Ford Power start button, which allows you to start the engine by simply pressing the clutch and pushing the button, and the Ford Easy Fuel system, which can tell the difference between petrol and diesel fuel pump nozzles.
